Websites for Legal Services

Law firm websites that make the first call easier to make

People looking for a solicitor are often worried, and comparing firms quietly before they call. We design legal websites that explain each practice area in plain English, show who they'll deal with and how pricing works, and make first contact feel low-risk.

The question in your customer's head

“Can they help with my situation — and what will it cost to find out?”

Legal enquiries start with a specific problem — a divorce, a dismissal, a house purchase — and a shortlist of firms. Visitors look for evidence that you handle their kind of matter, who they'd speak to, and what happens (and costs) once they get in touch.

How legal clients choose — and what the site does at each step.

  1. 01 · Finds

Searches a problem, not a firm — “unfair dismissal solicitor Bristol”.

  2. 02 · Checks

The practice-area page, the fee information and the person they'd deal with.

  3. 03 · Acts

Sends a short, confidential enquiry describing the matter — or calls.

What the site has to answer

Four questions, answered before anyone has to ask.

  1. 1Do you handle my kind of matter?
  2. 2Who will I actually deal with?
  3. 3How is it priced — and what does a first conversation cost?
  4. 4What happens after I contact you?

A starting page plan

The pages a law firm site usually needs.

Home
  • A page per practice area
  • People
  • Fees & pricing information
  • About & regulation
  • Contact

A starting point — your proposal sets the actual page list.

Usual starting point

Growth

£600 setup + £147/month5–7 pages · 21-day delivery · ex VAT

Separate practice-area pages are the heart of a legal site, so most firms need Growth's 5–7 pages. Firms with several offices or many practice areas may need Authority.

Worth knowing

  • The SRA Transparency Rules require price and service information for certain services, plus complaints information and the SRA digital badge. We build the pages and placements; your COLP should approve the content.
  • Enquiry forms should explain how information is handled and avoid inviting sensitive detail too early.
